Plastic molds can also produce good surface finishes, but it depends on the type of plastic and the molding process. Injection – molded parts can have a smooth surface, but there might be some marks or flash that need to be removed.
6. Design Flexibility
FRP molds offer a lot of design flexibility. You can create complex shapes and curves because the fiberglass and resin can be molded around almost any form. This is useful for creating custom – made products or prototypes.
